The Power of Unwavering Faith & Being Still

Life can be a mess if you let it be. Navigating through these 32 years of life has definitely been challenging. However, I know God has been with me the entire time. I wanted to create a safe place for women like me going through all walks of life. A community, if you will say, of like-minded individuals getting ready for all that they hoped and prayed for. This is your moment girl, it’s your time to shine! If you don’t think it’s your moment, then you’re wrong. God didn’t lead you to this blog, to this website just for nothing. This website is a place for hope, it’s a place for change, it’s where blessings and miracles happen!

I have spent almost my entire life wondering when my breakthrough would happen and what that would look like for me. Let me tell you it’s nothing like I imagined. I’ve always imagined my breakthrough being in the form of a degree and climbing up the corporate ladder. Let’s just say God has had different plans for me. I’m currently working toward my bachelor's degree at a nearby university, however I can hear God calling my higher self. He’s saying, “Christina!” “There are different paths then just the social norm.” For example, I love to write. I used to write poems all the time. During High School I watched a lot of CSI and Law & Order so, when I went to college, I decided to major in Forensics Science. Which was NOT a good idea, I repeat NOT a good idea. You see, I am passionate about writing, that is something that God put into me. The people who didn’t have good careers in writing probably wasn’t doing what God was calling them to do. So, I went off what I was seeing and not by what God put in me and that wouldn’t be the first mistake that I’ve make. I chose to major in Forensics for me because that was something that I thought would make me look good. My heart has always been in writing and helping others, that’s what God has put in me, that would have made me feel good.

Throughout our journey together, I want to challenge you to focus on the gifts that God has given you. That is where you will find your breakthroughs and your blessings! I want to challenge you to learn what God's voice sounds in your life. It’s different for everyone so only you can put in the work to find out what that sounds/looks like for you. But I know You Can Do It Girl.

I’m going to leave this Blog with two keys of life that God has recently blessed with me and I’m going to gift them to you. These two gifts are: Unwavering Faith and Being Still.

Unwavering Faith

Faith that cannot be moved! The trick is that your attitude has to match your faith! When something bad happens, you can’t throw a pity party! You pick yourself up “with a smile” and you say it’s okay and keep going. You stay in your positive thoughts. Stay in constant prayer. Act as though you already have what you have prayed for. Be thankful for what you have already been blessed with.  I have had to learn how to be thankful for the things that don’t go the way I want them to. My new motto is even the things that don’t go my way is a part of God’s plan, it’s preparing me in some way or another! Remember you are here for a reason. God brought you to this blog for a reason. He wants to use you in a bigger way. He has destined you for bigger and better but first you have to stop letting your circumstances affect your mood. There are always going to be difficulties, so how you handle the ones you face today unlocks the next level the Holy Spirit can have on your life! How do you think we get the hopes and desires that are placed inside of us? God puts them there. So why wouldn’t He want to see you have yours? Your faith can’t be moved, you must act like you have the things you hope for, and let your attitude reflect it!

Be Still!

This is one that I’m definitely still struggling through. Letting God handle it for me! That’s what He wants to do if you let Him! I know it’s hard, trust me! I’m Mrs. Fix It! I want to make the outcome look how I vision it. I NEEEEED to find the answer or should I say I use to need to find the answer. If you’re going through life trying to always find the answer and trying to seek the solution, you leave no room for God to be God. You’re trying to be your own God, and He’s going to let you TRY to do it. He wants to do it for you, but He wants to know if you trust Him enough to do it for you. He’s a gentleman, so let Him be! Put it down and let Him do what he does best and be God! I know that’s hard when bills need to be paid for, rent is due, and you don’t know where the money for either is coming from. But it goes back to unwavering faith, acting like it has already happened.

For the longest time I used to be torn between faith without work and being still... Lord, how can I do both? But He has showed me that you can. Putting work in faith is applying for that job he put on your heart or showing up to work. You’re doing the right thing, you’re trying. So let Him handle His part. One morning I was praying and as clear as day I heard Him speak to me. He said, “Live, Do Right, I will do the rest!” SO, I know if that applies to me that it applies to you too! So Live, Do Right, and He will take care of the rest! There’s literally nothing that He cannot and will not do for you. SO put Him to the test. I double dog dare you to have Unwavering faith from this point on, to be still, and count on Him to walk you straight into your Higher Self! In Jesus Name we must always pray, Amen!
