Waiting Season

God use our waiting season to increase our trust in Him. It reminds us that we’re at the mercy of his timing. When we are in our waiting seasons God teaches us patience. When God delay our plans, it can be His way of redirecting us. Delays can be His way of telling us we need to seek His will in that matter. There are many times where we can be praying in one direction and God may want us to pray in a different direction. His no can simply save our life or save us from a bad situation. You can tell when God shift starts because your whole world seems like it’s falling apart, or wave after wave of tests will make you feel like you’re being punished. But, in order for God to shift us into position, He has to shift us out of conditions that prevented our shift.

I’ve had a lot of waiting seasons (and so have you) But I learned how to be patient and that His will for my life is so much better than what I had planned. We think we know, but He sees things we can’t even see and He’s only protecting us (that sometimes mean protecting us from ourselves! Yes, sometimes we bring hurt and disappointment to ourselves when we should have just waited on God. But waiting is hard huh?) So, when we look at our waiting season from a different perspective then we will understand WHY waiting is necessary! It’s not to hurt us or to punish us! It’s simply for us to grow, to be patient, to continue to seek God and to just simply WAIT on God!

A lot of people say it’s hard to walk with God so here’s a question I want you guys to think about and answer. I also answered the question and gave 5 ways I feel like can help you with your walk with God. Please feel free to respond because I would love to hear from other people perspective and read your response.

 - What does it feel like to walk with God? Well let me tell you it’s not easy! But it’s worth it! It doesn’t make things easy, but it makes them possible! Walking with God give us assurance of his presence and power in our lives.

Here are 5 ways to enrich your daily walk with God.

  1. We have to start and end ever day with a prayer. It can be on your way to work, when you are in the shower, or while you are cleaning the house. It doesn’t matter where you pray at just as long as you give Him some of your time when you wake up and before you got to sleep because tomorrow is NOT promised.
  2. We have to know what is and isn’t important. We have to know where to focus our time on. A lot of things are just distractions to keep us off track with God. We have to recognize it! Quick!
  3. We have to place spiritual boundaries in our lives. It’s how you protect the health of your relationship with God. It’s important for you to read and study the Bible for yourself. Setting spiritual boundaries can be a daunting task (especially for the ones who are just starting out) but we have to know that God will NEVER abandon you in that journey. None of our requests for help are too great or too small for God to grant.
  4. Reading and meditating on scripture.
  5. Always remember we are an ambassador for Christ!

God allows us to struggle and have difficult times because we are sinners and we all come/fall short of the glory of God. He loves us. Because of our sinful nature, He allows these things to happen. But He knows by allowing us to experience pain and struggle we will grow stronger in our faith. God does not cause suffering, but he can and may allow it to accomplish good.

God has to be at the center! We need to rely on His plans and not ours. So, the reality is that there will be difficult times, but God promises to be our refuge. When our life has been crumbling and it seems as if the world is shaken, we have to remember that God has not failed us. We have to understand that He allows us to fail at times in order to grow closer to him. His word never fails! God’s word remains steadfast forever! His word ALWAYS comes forth with enough power to effect a change in us. God is always with us and for that reason alone we will not fail! He will give us strength and help in our time of need. We can’t play God ourselves nor try to control every aspect of our lives! We have to trust him to do that! He will give us grace and strength to stand empty before Him. We have to rely on Him! Casting all our worries and fears on Him! Remember when we are suffering, God is right beside us. There is nothing that can separate us from His love! No matter what we might face in life, God is a strong fortress and source of strength.

Remember this! God is in the midst of us, and we shall not be moved! He is the beginning and the end of ALL things! His plans are better than ours!

This is your season for grace and favor! You are about to be REALLY peaceful, successful, content, and happy!!

I pray everyone has a great week. Remember God loves you and so do I!
